Landscape Prehnite Oxidised Asymmetrical earrings

83.00

These are a pair of unique one-of-a-kind asymmetrical earrings of oxidised Sterling solid Silver and together on one side it's set with a Prehnite (light transparent green) gemstone cabochon.

The decorative morsels were replicated from parts of an intact large old Scottish Nurse's belt buckle (the original is still intact) through a lost wax casting technique. It is then divided in parts and rearranged to give them a new life with a new story to tell as wearable jewellery. I’ve always been fascinated by objects with a thoughtful decorative past / history into this contemporary world.

NOTE: The Silver has been oxidised for a dark grey patina which over time will polish off slowly giving you an antique silver finish.

Approximate measurements:

• The morsel with no stone, 1.6cm long x 0.9mm wide
• The part with Prehnite gemstone, 1.35cm long x 7mm wide
• handcrafted directly from my workshop in Montmartre Paris, France.
