This is for a one-of-a-kind / unique/ready-made necklace chain with a Vintage Mother of Pearl MOP (Nacre) button claw set onto a Sterling Silver dome pendant - the back of the dome is decorated with a Sakura-like floral finish and it is hollow on the inside which makes it lighter in weight. Handcrafted from Sterling Silver 925 the pendant is free to move along the chain.

I love nature and somehow have an inkling need to replicate it into wearable art, to somehow immortalise the mortal beauty and mystery.

Why sustainable and ethical? Instead of supporting the demand for a new Mother of Pearl I'm using existing pieces which can be repurposed or reclaimed etc. I have had the Mother of Pearl button for many years now, it was amongst my collection of antique/old objects that I treasure.

Approximate measurements:
• With 2 adjustable lengths on a long chain 69cm / 27inch and 64cm / 25inch long
• Mother of Pearl pendant: 1.7cm high x 1.3cm wide (flower face)
• The Mother of Pearl was repurposed from a Vintage button which I've claw set onto the dome
• Handcrafted by me from my atelier between Paris & Marseille, France.
